No, sorry mate, memory and processor nowhere near there really

Would recommend minimum Pentium 4 1.6Ghz and 512mb memory (preferably more)

Thanks for the reply. I was just offered a laptop and was going to take it with using it for production in mind, but didn't think it was good enough for that. Cheers.

Probably struggle to run one channle of audio and one instance of a 'verb plug. So no.

sound on sound has an excellent article on using old
computers for production this months issue

what you have to remember is that an old pc can dish up music ok if you use old software

it also has a lot about processor light apps and synths

worth a buy if you are looking to purchase on a budget .

or if you like answer soon and pm me your address before the end of today (so i can use work copier and stamps) i will copy it and post it to ya.

You could use it to sequence midi.. maaaaybe do some minor sampling...
