Looking to getting into production, what do you all think of this Laptop - http://www.carillondirect.com/clnweb/mobile.jsp

Will it be good enough or is it missing anything?

Also been looking at these - http://store.apple.com/Apple/WebObjects/ukstore.woa/6104040/wo/dW7PJ2EslsYj2ctsRAh17rrTldO/5.?p=0

Which 1 would you recommend?

Any help greatly appreciated...

que the apple/pc debate round 1,345:laughing:

they're both brilliant machines, they're not missing anything except a decent external usb/firewire soundcard.

i'd go for the carillon, but there's no real argument for going to one or the other, its purely personal choice.

there is no right and wrong answer though, you have to do what you feel is right

oh, and you will always want more power, no matte what you get, software is always getting more power hungry.
