right, jus got a new lappy. put some s'ware on it, got the sound card on (Terratec USB Phase 26) only to hear a terrible static noise when the cpu kicks up or another task is implemented. its audible via the speakers as interence not noise leakage.
have used the same Terratec with me desktop & no noise. i'm assuming its summat to do with the power supply for the lappy. anyone have any hints on this ? done a few goggles. but didnt find anything i trusted tbh
