Kicking off the new year at EC this Thursday will be a trio of Dublin DJ's. First up making his EC debut is Dan 'da web man' Ring. The brains behind the Electric City website we thought it was about time Dan got behind the EC turntables. Known for his love of hard techno Dan will be leaving his techno terrorists at home for an opening set of some italo and cosmic jam sandwiches. Next up will be EC resident and the most miserable manger our Fantasy football league has even witnessed, Barry Donovan. Fresh from tearing it up at last weeks annual residents Xmas party Barry will doing more of the same this week as he links Dan to Luke like a nine carrot gold chain straight from the H.Samual Xmas sale. You can also check out Barry this Saturday at the Underground in Kennedy's when the Lunar Disko and 52FUNK crews lock horns in what is sure to be a hard rocking night of disco, italo, chicago, and electro bombs.

Heading the line up is Luke Logan for his first appearance in Wax for Electric City. A stalwart denizen of the Dublin t-t-t-t-techno scene, this pixey from Co. Dublin has played everywhere across the city and will be heading off to find his inner self at the bottom of a Bogotan beer bottle sometime in 07. A smooth & skilful DJ, Luke will rock the planet rock with electro and techno jams to take us to the bridge.

Congratulations to our December Manager of the Month, Eoin O'Callaghan with a massive total of 408 points. An enormous final week score of 93 was enough to spring him out of the UEFA cup positions and leave him 4 points clear of Michael Condon. Goals and clean sheets and Ronaldo as captain was enough to do it. Eoin, your prize is free entry to all Electric City & Shock events in January - get in touch anytime you're coming down! Just over half of the season gone and all still very much to play for. Believe!
