Most of the scooter stuff ive heard has been absolute tosh but there are a few gems hidden in the bsides.

The most obvious and popular is 'back in time'. In addition to this ace tune, Ive recently discovered/id'ed 'Across the sky' which is the b-side to Endless summer and was hammered by m-zone in 95.

Does anyone know of any others worth checking out?

cheers and happy new xmas years eve (and all that)

Unity without Words part 1 & 2 are ok, and of course there is No Fate (Trance Mix) was a topper.

Yeah, i know most of there tunes are a major cheese fest, but dont be too negative too quickly. Take a listen to the ones just mentioned and u will be amazed at the quality.

True Hard Trancers in every sense mate, honest. I think that was the music the really wanted to make, but they got more money from the cheese. Thats my hopeful opinion anyway :cheese:

p.s. the Ultrasonic rip off was more MC HP and his lyrics, funny as feck sometimes

Yeah when scooter did proper trance it always seemed to be quality.

Well I may take a listen and see, but re ultra sonic:

I read somewhere (interview with US) that "move your ass" was a direct rip-off of "check your head" and there was one other track they did it too aswell and am sure move your ass was 1st big hit for scooter.

I just dont like how scooters tracks get called rave music/ techno etc. cuz it aint its awful euro-pop (IMO!)

scooter were ****in quality...

along wi the datura rmx e summer/no fate/back in time etc all noted in this thread there was all the tunes on their 1st album (vinyl) commander tom rmx valentine/rebel yell flip/across the sky an a gd few more...i always stck up for the scoots wen the slaggin invariably comes up in the scooter r shite thread...

ultrasonic were a gd live p.a. but there tunes were just bounce party tunage nothin like the deep tranceness of scooter...

yeah i don't care what any mug has to say about scooter lol, they wanna research their tunes fully before any slagging off!
i know they did some cheese but they obviously wanted their name to be out in the public & perhaps they had too much competition in the hard trance non vocal tunes with all the classics being produced at that time. maybe they saw the commercial side an easy way out? could be wrong ofcourse but whatever anyone says, overall i don't think scooter were as cheese as people make out.
back in time, accross the sky & stuttgart explain it all.............
