Well this wkend is going to be a tuffy for us away to Liverpool, that's for sure! With Fabregas and V Persie out it aint going to be easy, would like to see Baptisa go up front with Henry, he's a big guy ho looks good in the air and on the ball.

I hear Larsson is going to get his debut for Man U!!!!

Laws has done wonders for you Dan

yeah he's a great manager, but we where starting to do well just before he came with our caretaker manager, as we started to get alot of players back to fitness just after paul sturrock had got sacked.

we entertain Villa at Old Trafford...

Larsson looks likely to play, alongside Ole if reports are to be believed...

Think the Liverpool Arsenal game should be a good game. Liverpool could edge it if Fabrgas is out. I think Arsenal should play Baptista up front as it is his best positon. Liverpool seem to be on a good run and Gerrard and Alonso have formed a good partnership in that middle which could be the key tomorrow.

Quite a good game, first half lacked any sort of luster from either side (until the last 15 minutes) Second half was much better, more watchable from a neutrals point of view. (I even cheered when Henry scored!! :ohdear: that won't happen again for LONG time!)

Insomnia

Great result in the end, was abit worried at 2-1 for sure! Then Henry does what he's best at!! Hope we can do the same on Tuesday at Anfield in the Carling Cup..

Will

We'll field a weakened team in that though and Rafa was on about revenge before it got postponed, they'll want revenge even more now after putting another 3 past them, this time at Anfield! Progress to the 4th round seems scant reward for winning at Anfield, we migjt go out in the next round, It'd be better if it was for 3 points in many ways. Hopefully we'll beat them every time, especially if we meet in the CL!

I didn't think you were a neutral, though if you cheered Henry's goal today I'd have thought you would again unless it was against the scum you support, haha.

The game was quite even but Arsenal just had more quality. Thought Liverpool may have sneeked a equaliser until Henry made Carragher look a twat. Luis Garcia was rubbish again.

I guess you're right (well, first half of your poast :briggin: ) As I was kind of hoping for Liverpool to do you. But,I ain't gonna say shit all else until about 6ish tonight, after the Spurs game. Not looking forward to it,it's away from home!! But, it's not in the league,so it could be ok. *bites fingernails*

yeah, football wise it was one of our worst performances apart from a few moments of class. We defended pretty well for the most part though, goal aside... We had 4 shots on target, so Dudek saved one and conceded 3 and Liverpool had 2, presumably the goal and Crouch's attempt that led to the goal!

well we (sheff wed) got a 1-1 draw against man city, we played them off the park to be fair, should have won it, trust us to get useless graham poll as the ref

garcia was absolutely shite.... what a waste of space.

carragher had an absolute howler along with finnan. constantly standing off the arsenal forward line.

what on earth were we trying to walk the ball into the net for? ever heard of the wings? arsenal only ever looked uncomfortable when we hit the flanks and got decent crosses in the box. they were going to defend the centre of the box forever.

dudek was at fault for all three goals.... he was shite. first goal no mans land and second goal exactly the same. of course the defence should have never allowed the shots, but a completely shite effort from the lads.

why was bellamy warming up all the second half? we needed pace, not players taking their time.

gerrard was the only player on the pitch worth his money. the rest should have taken no wage.

why on earth was carragher trying to keep the ball in on that last goal. he is nowhere near as fast or skillful as henry, so what a plonker. the goal was comical and we looked like a totally shit side.

i'm absolutely livid about how much we rolled over.

i was so ****ed off with our effort that i was glad in the end that we took a scoreline hiding. possession is nothing unless you actually do something with it.

the only positive i can take from this game is that benitez might observe the errors of the tactics and laziness from some of our players and sort it out for the league game against arsenal at home. that game will be about pride. not revenge.

good luck to arsenal for the cup(s)

if the tactics are the same and the arrogant attitudes of the players are the same as they were on saturday, then we will lose again.

they better not try walking the ball into the net again arghhhhh

crosses are the key.
