Cant see how this is true.

At start of the season rela were over 200m in debt and had to sell training ground. They are also subsides by the spanish royal family.

Barca i heard the other day are well over 50m in debt.

what about juventus? weren't they relegated to serie c? how can they still be #2?

well, only relegated to serie b. but theyll be back in serie a next year, they are top already despite the points penalty.

why number 3?

because Juventus are the biggest supported club in Italy.
something like 24 million supporters (althoug very few in turin as they mainly support Torino, hence very few supporters at the stadium)

they also had the largest sponsorship deal in the world (up until last month)

they are owned by Fiat.

sensible with their money. They dont usually splash out on big name players, but can sell at huge prices. They co-own most of the top young players in Italy and make money by selling the co-ownership.
