was playin at an event last night advertised as a hardhouse/hardtrance night. Didnt realise I was the only trance dj an I was on last, so I wz forced to sit through 3-4 hours of hardhouse, at first I thought "oooo its not bad this" then after about another hour realised that is like somekind of weak hardtrance without the feeling an it just goes on & on.......... oh and on! fkin annoying bollox :nono:
I think house is just bollox fullstop.

I was unlucky enough to listen to a 2 hour set by anne savage last night at the dance academy, hard house makes me ill,its so painful to listen to because it just doesn't go anywhere.  :eh:
How long until hardstyle Djs drop in and take all the HH fans away.
Surely the reasons anyone would like HH are:
1) fast (150bpm+)
2) hard
3) catchy vocal samples
4) catchy riffs
5) fun
well, **** me, but hardstyle does all 4 of those about a million times better, with better DJs and more ideas. Why would people choose HH over hardstyle?

1) fast (150bpm+) = this is true
2) not veryhard
3) cheesy vocal samples
4) playstation 2 made riffs
5) camp
lmfao! Hard house is pony.... a lot of my mates are into it, i just dont get it. I quite like the old stuff like captain tinrib. But the tidy, make them by a million sound is so shit!

i used to be into my hard house i thought sum of the 2000/2001 stuff such as the 12 inch thumpers tracks and a few of the dutch labels at the time where produceing a lot of good music. but i can quite honestly say hardhouse is terrible summin that really bugs me is tidys attempts at hard trance it just sound like hard house with a trancey riff over the top :nono:

Good thread. Just out of interest Paul Glazby did a track recently called F***ing Hostile. Obviously nothing to do with an old Gabba track by DJ Skinhead from 1996 called F***ing Hostile which uses the same Pantera sample. Nice to see that HH is as original as ever...
