Even though it's hardly been advertised, we have already nearly run out of the early-bird tickets for our 3rd Birthday bash on Saturday 31st of March. We have also confirmed a brand spanking new 2 room venue for this one, nobody we know has partied here before, so that should be an extra treat! Also, don't forget that the theme is wigs, so get your thinking caps on to come up with the most inventive dressing up ideas. This party also sees the return of the famous mulletover after-party. When we first started the night, after-parties were so thin on the ground that we sometimes had more people at the afters than the actual parties! Since then, every man and his dog is doing them, so we have decided to concentrate on hosting them only when we have something to celebrate. This months will be at another warehouse location, where we'll be teaming up with another big promoter from the night before for something extra special.
DJ wise, Geddes aka Rekleiner (www.myspace.com/stuartgeddes / www.myspace.com/rekleinermuzik) is joined LIVE by MyMy (www.myspace.com/justmymy) for a date on their ‘Songs For The Gentle’ album tour… Their album recently released on German imprint Playhouse (http://www.ongaku.de/news.php?lang=en ) – and one which has been receiving plaudits everywhere…
Zip, behind label Perlon (www.perlon.net ), home to releases from artists including Dimbiman (aka Zip), Ricardo Villalobos, Stefan Goldman, Melchoir Productions and more, has recently mixed compilation “Superlongevity4”, out now on Perlon and including tracks from Babyford, Mat John, Luciano and Ricardo Villalobos.. Zip also holds a Perlon residency at Berlin's Panorama Bar and is a favourite mulletover player.
In the back room our good friends from Timewarped / Size Doesn't matter will be providing the funk, disco, soul, old skool and what ever else takes their fancy. If you only come to one of our parties this year, this will be the one!
Ibiza 2007
For those of you that have been hassling us for our Ibiza dates, so you can book those all important cheapo flights, we are finally ready to confirm them. We'l be promoting 4 parties on the Island on Saturday nights. As with our parties in London, they'll all be in unique, interesting and most probably secret locations.
