Making his long overdue debut at Electric City will be Magnetize. His live sets have rocked floors at parties like DEAF, Acii Disco, Diston in Belfast, Lazybird and more. Magnetize has been making noize since the early 90s using tape loops, old synths & and guitar stomp boxes that was heavily influenced by the likes of Suicide, Can, AMM & Coil. To date, apart from strictly limited edition releases on compilations, two LPs of 'high energy cosmic radiation' have surfaced on Irish experimental label Rimbaud and a dark dancefloor electro EP, 'Anti-Chord', on renowned UK electro label Templedog. Finishing up this week we have Scott Logan who runs the Paradiddle record label. He was a resident at Model 1 and his fast-paced hip-hop influenced DJ'ing style is full of beat-juggling, scratching and, most importantly, killer electro and techno records. First up hookin for shit is our resident Ranelagh bin hoker Barry 'I caught ye' O'Donovan.

As the season approaches a flurry of double weeks and no-game weeks, it's time to look back on the ideas of March. This month we celebrate in the honour of the ginger-haired Arsenal squad player, Perry Groves who is the March manager of the month in the EC Championnat with his team of Byker Groves. A total score of 202 was enough to keep Perry 6 points clear of Mark McNally. Well done Perry - your prize is free entry to all Electric City events in April when you can have it large whenever you want.

Overall, the leader is still Cathal Flynn who is holding a solid distance over nearest placed challenger, Karl Waters. Long-time leader, Barry Donovan has (as widely predicted) peaked too soon and is now on a downward slope to the nether regions of UEFA cup qualification and is currently sitting in 12th place. Gary Morgan, another former Manager of the Month winner holds 4th spot.

With nearly the same points difference between 1st and 4th as there is between 4th and 20th - things will really hot up between now and the end of the season in the race for European qualification. We are currently considering having a Division 1 and Division 2 for next year's league with relegation and promotion to follow each year from then on. If we go with this decision, then Division 1 will comprise of the Top 20 finishers this year.
