It could easily be said that alongside fellow countrymen Laibach and Umek, Valentino Kanzyani is one of Slovenia's biggest musical exports. As well as spinning techno and house on three decks across the world since 1995 to crowds of up to 10,000+, he has released countless dancefloor anthems for labels such as Primevil, Yoshi Toshi, Intec, Wet Musik, Tronic, Primate, Consumer Recreation and his and Umek's jointly run Recycled Loops (techno), Earresistible (tech-house) and new Jesus Loved You (electro/techno) imprints. He has released mixed CDs on Carl Cox’s Intec label and 'Rock The Discotheque' Volumes 1 and 2 for Matrix Musik and over 40 remixes on labels such as 23rd Century, Premier Sounds, 20:20, Urbana, Shine, ZYX, Intec, Wet Musik and more! If anyone can lay claim to putting Slovenia on the techno map then the name Valentino Kanzyani ranks high as one of its biggest propagators.
