Kubra is the project of Tim Hoogesteger (aka DJ Tim / Frame Six) and Bas Ror from Rotterdam.
Tim is well known for his early 90’s collaborations with DJ Misjah and the famous X-Trax imprint. After the huge success Tim went back into the underground with his label Grammar. He had a massive record as Frame Six on the german Raygun label that even got charted by Sven Väth.
Bas Ror is resident dj at the Bootleg Dj Café in Rotterdam and he is also a part of I-F’s CBS (Cybernetic Broadcasting System).
Together they joined forces to produce raw and unique techno. Having released a track called “Magnetic Moodswing” on Frantic Flowers (FS001) in 2005, this is the first complete release of the duo. “Control Issues” features 4 raw and funky techno tracks that are all destined to cause a dancefloor frenzy. This is the most clubfriendly release on AW-Recordings to date.
Limited to 500 copies worldwide, including 200 copies in clear marbled vinyl.
