the warm up dj is a pretty important part of the night dude, got to set the pace on the dancefloor, not to fast, you wanna lure them f**ers on & not to bangin, a nights about progession, no good bangin out when 1st on.
some suggestions, joey beltram, boriqua tribez, carl falk, paul mac, chris finke, michael de hey, dj vestax..
some classics with a bit of funky grooved techno is a good start off buzz.
er try... dont'ask, mentor records, some TCP's, primate, wet muzik, soma records, relief records, ingoma, tronic, i220 music, luxa flex, lactick, travels, vezotonik, pornagraphic...
hope that helps groover.

what about some more chilled out acid techno/house. Sort of BamBam,Steve poindexter stuff, stuff from the aciiiieed label. That's chilled, and you can keep the element of the acid that you love,so you've not sold your soul to satan on your first gig.

well thing is i dont have much cash, so im gona work with what i have got.

i have just ordered raw-remix 9 with android on it , which is amazing. and i ve ordered the new suf - mobile dogwash one.
so i m gonna play what like basically, its not like im the guest of honour or anything.

play all my new stuff - new sufs , powertools and pounding grooves.

just play em a bit slower innit.

if you've got any old school sounding acid, stick some of that in too. Some of the a3c0i3d tracks sounds perfec slowed down.

sure i'm in a pretty lucky position now, but hell i remember those old days. it's not easy. i say take that shit where ya can find it. if you're an acid techno guy i would defo go raw and the more tripy guy mccaffer sound if ya can't afford to get a whole warm up set together.. if ya got a bit of cash, i would get on juno and go for the more listening stuff.

i've actually taken a few things recently that have taken me out of my comfort zone but that's cause the older you get in this game you more you need a challenge. good luck man, try to take yourself forward as a person here. this will make you a better dj for sure...

A couple of recent releases are out on Hardfloor, and there's a moogz on acid track that I reckon'll go down well. If you're gonna spend a little, check those releases out aswell. :)

start with some blocky hard techno, paul langly, Kaoz, chris da break etc etc...
and slap the head off em with viper xxl, natus, whittikend, switchblade and so on. that'll warm em up for sure.
