Dear Freaky Dancers,

Freaky Dancing has an action packed bank holiday weekender ahead this coming bank holiday, with 2 amazing parties at opposite ends of the country, so we hope you're all in the mood for some party action again.

The weekend kicks off with a long awaited return visit from Billy Nasty at The Cosmic Ballroom on Friday 25th, with Billy set to play a 3 hour set taking in both the Electro and full on Techno sides of Billy’s repertoire.

This is followed on Bank Holiday Sunday 27th May by a Freaky Dancing roadtrip to London where we’re cohosting the official Antiworld 070707 Festival London Launch Party at The EGG.

The line up for this party must rank among the best techno lineups of any club night in the country this year, with DJ’s including BEN SIMS, SURGEON, CHRIS LIBERATOR, BEN LONG, RADIOACTIVE MAN and BILLY NASTY, plus breaks from Hardcore Beats main man Ctrl-Z, Ken Mac, Canine Sounds, Gaudi, electronica from Audio Fly, Paddy Freeform, Nils & JB as well as Freaky Dancing regulars Suade, Chris Littlewood, Pete Samplers & Electrofried.

Freaky Dancing are running a coach from Newcastle to this party, leaving from Central Station at 2pm Sunday, and returning to Newcastle from outside the Club at 6.30 am after the club shuts to get back to Newcastle about 1pm on the Monday.

If you fancy joining us on our roadtrip, please let us know asap by emailing us at admin@freakydancing.net or text us on 079000 93587 to reserve your place on the coach, if you think you've already told us you're coming please still get in touch to confirm your place. Weekender tickets cost £35 which includes coach travel to London and back, entry into the club in London, and entry to Friday’s party at The Cosmic Ballroom. To guarantee your place on the coach please bring the £35 with you to the Cosmic Ballroom on the Friday night & pay for your place on the door.

Tickets are also now on sale from RPM and Beatdown Records for the Antiworld 070707 festival which takes place from 6th-8th July, costing £100 plus booking fee, or we can sell you them direct without booking fee if you ring us on 079000 93587 to arrange to meet us.

Antiworld 070707 Festival Stewarding

We still have volunteer stewarding places available for the festival, so if you're skint or just feel the urge to help out (we do need the help) and are available to travel down to the festival on the evening of Wednesday 5th July, and return on either Sunday 8th or Monday 9th, and willing to do 3 * 6 1/2 hour shifts over the weekend, please email us at festivalstewards@freakydancing.net as soon as possible to apply for a place. In return for your work you will get free return coach travel to the festival, free entry to the festival, secure back stage camping, and 2 meal tokens per day.

If you're already got in touch but haven't heard back from us yet, don't panic, you are on the list, we will be sending out the full application forms and informations sheets in the next few days (I know we're been saying that for ages, sorry, we've nearly got it sorted).

There are currently over 70 people who've volunteered to help from Freaky Dancing's extended family, which is an amazing response, but we really need to double that number if we are to fully do our part in making this amazing festival happen, so please spread the word & get your mates involved (if you have any vaguely sensible mates).
