Yeh ive been listening to a bit of 'nustyle' and its pretty good. Really evil and dark, same speed as hardtyle but just really nasty, no cheese what so ever.

I didn't think nu style gabber was the same speed as hardstyle??? The nu style scott brown plays is well over 180bpm!!!

nustyle can be anything from 160 to 180 sometimes even faster

Been getting into my nustyle. Seems a large part of my crowd love it. Had a few complaints last time for not playing enough at the last one..hehe (sorted next time ;) )

Anyway I realy like the uplifting trancey gabba tunes that Promo is making normally the B sides.

Heard the Elstack set at Slammin on a tape and it sounded awesome so gutted I missed it. Also the Neophyte one is ****ing class.

There's a tune that has a sample in it where the music stops an it goes "ssshhhhhhhhhhh" then it's proper stomping. Anyone know what this is?

Nu-Skool gabber (fu*king hate the word gabber, should be techno) is wicked! Has anyone got the Scott Brown & Neophyte tape from Helter Skelter Energy 2001, with Scorpio & Producer on the B-side? Check it out! This is what hardstyle is IMO. Proper rocking tape. :rambo:

Not sure what you mean mate? But looking at where your from and can see what your getting at! Hardcore never had a big club scene over here like over where you are, so it always has been in the underground :eh:

Yeah hardcore is still big here in holland  only and luckely more underground as 1990.. i don't say that i didn't enjoyed those times only i saw what commercial does..... IT ****IN KILLS GOOD MUSIC... i think that we're the only country who has huge styles in one time ( don't know the word, but i mean that many people like a style)

first pop, techno, hardcore, (hard)trance and now hardstyle.. i mean whats next????

Luckely there are still many people at the dutch ground who believe in hardcore (like me) and produce and spinn those styles.... but hardcore has changed not that im cryin about that cause the style which is't now is good to mix whit extreme hardstyle ;)

but what i was thinkin when i saw paul's first message was that he would like that hardcore where gettin bigger and bigger  .......(stupid me) cause that's not going to happen cause people saw ( i mean here in holland) what commercial does it kills ya and i give ya a bad image
