Hi, everyone!
I've heard small earphones that we stick in our ears modify ears inside so that ear doctors give "traumatized" diagnosys. I guess huge headphones are safest from this point of view.
What other actors should be considered? For instance, I'm afraid to repair my old cheap big Philips headphones as they are closed type and might resonate back into the ear. (I read about such feature of $ 15 headphones)

Your speakers and headphones define your sound more than anything.

The only more important thing is your ears.

Destroy your ears and you are doomed. If you spend any money at all, spend it on good speakers and headphones. You can get free software to do everything under the sun, but the without good sound you are always going to struggle.

And without working ears.... well, worked ok for beethoven I guess but I wouldn't fancy my chances personally...
