A suggestion - forum change

That we go back to the old system but also include the new system a bit.

I seem to be going back and forth downloading a new mix then checking to see if there is a set list etc.

So why not just allow each mix to be posted as a general post, where people can comment on each set and produce a tracklist in that same post.

Then a mod or whoever can then move after 2 weeks the link to the correct sticky and any tracklist to the tracklist thread.

I dont know you decide.

I am trying to think of something myself at the moment actually :laughing: u must of read my mind!

At the moment i am trying to sort out the tracklist thread, which is screwing with my mind lol! So i am going to get that sorted and tidied up then see whats what.

U could have an idea there, i take it u mean have a thread per set, having the link in the first post then discuss the tracklist etc etc, all in that one thread??

Getting fed up with trying to keep the filez section free of chat so it might be a better idea. It could also get folk talking more about sets etc as well, rather than just coming on to see if there is anything to download that buggering off again??

Was maybe thinking of having 2 locked threads at the top, 1 with tracklists & download links and the other just having download links.

The reason for locking is so it always stays tidy, if there are any additions, mistakes or such, then post a new thread with the details and i will change it.

If this is a good idea, how would u like me to set out the tracklist thread or threads?? It might be a bit jumbled as there are a lot or them!

Sounds good, this is what I propose.

2 locked topics(I presume you will still have access to change)

Downloads and Track list thread


Then when ever Owen comes along with a nice lil gabba set it will be posted in the main area and we will be able to discuss the set, make up a tracklist etc.

After a week or so you then move the link to the down load to the download locked topic also adding a link to the thread where the discussions took place and also move the track list to the locked track list topic.

Nothing should be deleted, i have only unstuck the previous sticky threads so they will still be about in the forum. Only threads that were deleted were ones with expired links.

I am still to finish some other download threads, so please bear with me :;
