Surface Tension Recordings (http://www.myspace.com/surfacetensionrecordings) is a new digital label started by Indianapolis' own techno/dubstep soldier DJ Shiva, dedicated to the space where dubstep and techno meet. Where the movement and spirit of techno meet the shuffling, cavernous subbass rumblings of dubstep, that's where we want to be.
Currently looking for artists who find themselves in that space in between, who dig the accessibility of the digital medium, and who are not afraid to experiment. Anything from the harder end of things to the dubby Berlin/Detroit sound, if it's riding the fence of dub/dubstep/techno, we want to hear it.
