just about to start now, Hamilton is on pole, with Raikkonen in the Ferrari second, then Alonso and Massa, looks like it could be a good race...

Hamilton's been doing really well of late...

it's been quite a good race thus far, Hamilton leading but Raikkonen is all over him trying to pass, good to see the Ferrari's back on the pace...

yeah oval racing can get boring when its over big distances, but as speedways only 4 laps each race i love it, it also means you can see every part of the track, plus there was more passing in that clip i posted than in an entire season of F1:laughing:

i was supposed to be going to coventry tonight to watch the speedway world cup, but couldn't get the night off work:whoops:

bastards

In fairness, it's only really F1 that suffers from a lack of overtaking, Touring cars, Indy cars etc has plenty...

Didn't you used to do a bit of Speedway yourself? I suppose it'd be fun to take part in if nothing else!

yeah had a 250 speedway bike when i was 14, lasted around a year until the frame bent and cracked and the engine was knackered, then we couldn't afford a replacement bike.

It's a weird way to ride a bike, sliding it around a corner with no brakes, powering on when normally you'd shut the throttle off, it goes against all your normal instincts
