well it can use up a little extra memory and system resources, but as long as you've got a decent one, from their correct website, it will only do good.

get AVG and u cant go wrong.

I use AVG Professional Anti Virus, works wonders mate. If you don't wanna pay anything tho, defo go for the free one or check out some other cool thimgs om http://www.filehippo.com :briggin:
