Welcome Dan,

I'll check out the myspace tunes when I'm back from work. They block all the streams stuff here, but now I can check it at home in the night time.

Glad you've found the forum...It's a very good place to find tips, learn tricks, make a few friends, and hear loads of good tunes.

Can't wait to check out your materials. But will be some 9 hours or so before I can listen on it. Oh and thanks for the honorable mention.

Peace, Pot and Tekno
Brad

Hey Dan, welcome to the best techno resource and community on the web.

Would highly recommend you send links to files for people to download - something like sendspace.com is pretty good and most people can access it at work.

Listening now to campervan, nice deep subs. Kicks could definitely be a little heavier in there though...maybe just a bit of gain on your compressor. Needs a bit of eq in the synth area too I believe because it seems to interfere with the percussion you have going. I think overall could use some edit work and such too. Just to give the pieces variation and more change for movement within the song. Some good choice of noises, the edits and stuff all just comes eventually.

Really liking Insanitary though. I could kick back to this, drink a bottle of bourbon, maybe slit my wrists and fade into oblivion. Beautiful darkness. Could maybe use another element or two...SOme nice lush high strings with some chorus and lfo on them. Quite enjoyed what you've done for this one though. Definitely my favorite of the materials.

Really wasn't into tunnel man personally, and I think that with a bit more work on the mixdown, some edits, and a bit more patience combined with aggression, and Tunnel Man will be dope.

YOu're not doing bad truly for doing it only a year.....the more time in the saddle you have, you'll just get better and better....Just keep striving for a higher standard each track and you can't help but progress.

Alright, Dad is done giving his speech.

Keep it up and post some direct links to tunes...and again welcome to BOA...the best site for techno on the planet!!!!

Play in Brighton a lot - I run the Black Box nights, played at a few Ape-x nights and various others round brighton.

Get yerself down to Blackbox!
