Before I did all my mixing on my Yamaha 01V.
I was thinking. All the EQ's en effects on that machine are on 20bits.
And it's a digital mixer. So it wouldn't actually matter to replace my mixer with a very good audio interface in combination with high quality plugins.

I've always wanted to try out the Liquidmix. Are there any people over here who already use this Fucosrite product. How is the sound like?

Its OK...but in my opinion, nothing special, the chances are you will have never heard some of the EQ and compressor models, and the chances of you recnising them are slim,

for example you aint gonna go "oh iv heard this neve on a madonna track"

but for what it is, its alright, i just use logics own plugins and the sonalksis ones, they do me and there reasonably priced, but i suppose for a hands on feel, the liquid mix is better.

Try having a go on one in a shop to see what you thing :)

I might be getting one of these myself.
Fantastic sound, no better than the URS eq`s and compressors (and they are great!!), but obviously you suddenly take all that load off your CPU using this.
I`ve had a demo and I reckon it`s worth every penny if you are seriously into mixing properly.
