Sevilla's Antonio Puerta has died. aged 22.
he collapsed on saturday with a heart attack. died today.
very sad news.....prayers go out to his family

Very true, especially to die of a heart attack, you'd have hoped the team doctors would have picked up on his heart and done something about it.

Watched the game live and couldnt believe what was goin on. When he come off the pitch he was fine, although dazed.

Apparently he went into changing room and collapsed again. Very sad.

Anything to do with the heat i wonder? They were dripping as soon as the game started

Yeah saw this game at the wkend, like djfase says he looked okay coming of the pitch but then collapsed again in the changing room...

Tragic when i heard the day that he died! Very sad...

Ive been following this on the Spanish news since the weekend - really sad.

Good player as well and could of joined Madrid this summber but chose to stay with Sevilla.

Think thats about the 4th player to die from heart attack in the last 5 years.
