Well, we'll see after the group stage at least! I don't think any of the English teams will go out before the knock out stages, nice though it might be in certain cases.

Love these games.

The fast paced english style against the laid back technical style of the europeans. Great to watch

Just hop an english team wins this year

Aye it's back and it doesn't get much better than this....

Sevilla at home, bring it on...

To be honest though it's gonna be a real test for us, i watched Sevilla play at the wkend and they won 4-1 and looked impressive....

Kanoute looked very sharp also and bagged 2 of the goals, he'll be a big threat against us.....

just watched the kopites draw with porto...

kopites didn't play very well, but it's a good result for them, porto didn't do enough to win despite their great start...

chelsea drew with rosenburg at stamford bridge...

I watched the Celtic match...

It was always gonna be hard to come back after losing 2 goals in the first ten mins...

Surprised at the Chelsea score thought they'd of won that...

rosenburg let the rent boys off the hook tonight. they are looking pretty lacklustre without fat frank and drogba. can't believe mouriniho was winging about the quality of his squad before the game.

obviously £300million just aint quite enough to build a champions winning team these days (unless of course you can get to the final without actually having to score a goal in the semis like the you know who ;) ).

Watched the liverpool game. Liverpool played terrible, can't believe how badly they passed the ball - some of the passes they gave away without being under pressure was criminal.. but 1-1 away and not playing well is good enough..

liverpool played very badly, but porto do have some flair players...

the diving and pretending you are hurt scenario is truly frustrating and the ref gave away free kicks for perfectly good tackles on either side...

if liverpool won it would have been harsh on them (re: the gerrard chance at the end)....

taking a draw when you dont really deserve it reminds me of man utd over the years... but i'll take it after chelseas invisible penalty at anfield this year

so it might be on omen... heh

taking a draw when you dont really deserve it reminds me of man utd over the years...

very true.
I've lost count of the number of times Utd have had a team by the balls and looking sure to win, only to let them back into it again in the last 20 minutes and drop 2 points.

yeah, so funny because it's a falsehood....

utd had far more good luck than bad luck all through the 90s and more and it's a joke to think otherwise.

United were awful in the first half tonight, couple of good saves from Edwin kept it level...

started to play a bit better in the second half and Cristiano scored from Brown's quality cross, United then started to create more chances and could have scored more...

good result as our away form in Europe has been woefull of recent years...

the Sporting fans applauded Cristiano off the field when he was subbed too which was nice of them...

Arse are lookin strong at the mo but Sevilla tried to play them at their own game and failed...

reckon Arse will still struggle against teams which wanna spoil their play...
