What - no Horrow Show?? As Mighty Boosh's Tony Harrison would say: This is an outrage!

Loved Up The Brackett but the 2nd LP was poo.

Fair dos if you liked the second one but apart from Can't Stand Me Now it didn't do it for me. Music When The Lights Go Out was pretty good too I guess. And some of the other songs are okay. So "poo" was maybe a little harsh. There - you just broke me down.

They've only got 2 albums, so whats the point in a best of? They are both always in sales as well, when this best of comes out, one would probably be able to pick up both albums for the same price as the best of. Are there lots of EPs that never made it on to the albums or something? If thats the case fair enough, otherwise just sounds like the record label being greedy and Pete needing more smack.

bahhh, total cash in this, and this is coming from one of the biggest Libertines fan's i know, i simply love the Lib's but this is totally unecessary. With the amount of amazing bootleg and demo sessions kicking around the internet, they would of been much, much better taking some of them, bumping the quality up and compiling them together than this.

i'l wait for the new Babyshambles and Dirty Pretty Thing's records me think's

aye 'tis a total cash-in, agree that they should have released a live album or maybe a rarities collection, somin like that...

haven't got into Babyshambles, but Dirty Pretty Things are good, their debut was a quality album i thought...

i would have a good guess that this is actually just to finish up any tie's with Rough Trade as the Libertines, probably had a 3 album deal and this will just honour that and bring the deal to a finish. That's what tends to be the case with these situations anyway, especially when its a relatively unusual best of situation, which this is i think
