SHOWCASE
We have H0ffman from Unstable records going back to his techno roots to give us a 3 deck boshathon. Ian Ford aka H0ffman is know to most of the breakbeat scene as the talent behind the Fabric anthem Everybody (Unstable) and has a score of remixes and unofficial techno booties under his wing. These days he is found behind the decks pushing the tearout breaks sound, but it wasn't always like this. For many years H0ffman could be found as resident techno DJ at Freedom Sound at Enzos Nightclub, where he commanded a following due to his exceptional 3 deck techno skills. Easily up there with the best of them. It is therefore with great pleasure that the MANTIS 006 showcase is H0ffman.
H0ffman can be caught weekly on Breaks.FM with his Unstable Radio show, co-hosted by M0del101. (Wednesday 19:00-21:00 BST)
REST OF DA SHOW
Besides the 1hour showcase, DVNT will be giving up 2 hours of the finest electronica, from past, present and even a few future dubs. Expect the now usual MANTIS range of ambient, downtempo, electro, dubstep, breaks, techno, jungle, progressive, drum n bass, hiphop and odd. With a fair bit of the whob for good measure.
So please tune in from 15:00 BST (GMT+1) this Saturday (13th October 2007) on www.brap.fm and 101.4FM throughout Brighton.
