Hey people,

We have a track in cubase that we need to save as a final arrangement with all the parts intact so it can be given to someone else and each part remixed them.

We tried to burn that particular cubase file to CDR but when we played it back it didn't have the entire track. It was searching for some directories and files that should have copied across but these files didn't burn to disc for some strange reason. The missing files are files/parts that have been bounced.

Is there a specific procedure we have to follow to get it to copy properly ?

Any help or advice would be appreciated...

Cheers,

MM

First off ALWAYS make a new folder for each track u do.. Cubase organizes all it needs 2 play the file in several subfolders... Audio/ Edits/Images, also the main folder should include the *.cpr...

Best thing 2 do now is go file/ save song 2 a new folder... name the folder and location....

From now on always make each track 2 it's own folder... so all u have 2 do is copy the all folder...

There is other ways like exporting a mixdown of each track individually...

Of course u can always clean up a bit by going into the Audio Pool, right click and remove all unused media, make edits permanent (or just bounce the track and replace the origina with the bounced 1, empty the audio recycle bin...

Don't forget that u might send yer track 2 b remixed b some1 who doesn't use SX!

MAKE SURE U BACK UP B4 U FIDGET!!!!!!!! ;)

Nice one, cheers Ze Mig L,

We have taken that on board, it's still not working tho!

We'll keep trying and get it sorted soon, I hope.
