Token number 5(ish) and as with the previous 4 releases, it's a corker in my opinion! :)
Token Special will highlight a deeper, less dark variaton of the main imprint. On this first edition, Phase delivers a timeless piece of funk, driven on killerstabs and dreamy synths. Add the typical Phase percussion and you have another winner.
Both mixes contain a huge amount of energy while still keeping it intimate. Their timeless Detroit feel will certainly haunt worldwide dancefloors for a long time. Expect this to be found in playlists of Derrick May, Laurent Garnier and Jeff Mills.
After the hugely well received Token 3 (including a license to Dave Clarke's I LOVE TECHNO mix-compilation), Phase puts the cherry on top with this art piece.
