Hey All

well this is on test pressing already so why not blow my own trumpet so to speak - i've been waiting an age for this to come out but so glad it is and on druck, one of my favourite labels. It is loosely hard trance I suppose, well to me its more a techno tune that drops into a trance riff, but calling it tech trance will get it labelled in the same catergory as 1000 releases it doesn't sound anything like, etc

anyway enough bullshit...

Nice tune louk. Both excellent sides but i do prefer your side aswell. Class little riff going on. Kamui's the more techier side for me.

Out of interest what setup have you got for producing your stuff?

Yo mate, for that tune was just a laptop running cubase, some HD25 headphones, with pro 53 and v-station and some samples

all balanced down on some behringer absolute zero's

Cheers for the reply louk.

Wow im surprised here... i was expecting you to name a load of things but you haven't! Your obviously doing something right mate getting released on such a top class label. Im after getting into production but struggling on where to start. What do you think of those mac-book pros?

Yo mate, you'd be surprised how many people just use software and a laptop, quite a few! The riff was done on the pro 53, there are some phenomenal soundbanks for that and the v station by Synthology (Ralph Novell) and Adam Van Baker that are worth checking, and if I recall, most the sounds were from Blutonium Hardstyle Volume 1 sample cd.

Those Mac Book pros' well I can give you my honest answer and that is that I hate macs and find them so hard to work with, so I am of course being a huge PC head not keen, however friends have used them and swore by them who are mac heads so I recommend checking them if you like a mac interface!

Cheers louk good advice there. I know what your saying its personal preferance innit. So from what you know mate - On a spec/power level and not interface - would the macbook pro do me for producing trance / hard trance.

Sorry to keep on at you mate, but as your a trance producer yourself and you are releasing stuff you know what is needed and your advice is a big help
