any one know any nice reverb plugins to get that nice of beat reverb and do you sidechain it to the kik or something like that, any help would be great.

Don't need to use side chain if you don't want to. You can just put a predelay on the reverb and set the decay to end when the next kick starts.

Otherwise just side chain it like a bassline.

theres no sidechaining involved aty all, its just use of a decent reverb, do you mean the reverb on the kick or snare? if its either, it will be reverb, then compressed to the max

sidechaining is an over used word getting.

ah this sounds great im gonna look this up! if i'm right this would explain the kind of offbeat reverb I've not achieved yet which changes slightly with each reverb, heard alot on old Routemaster recs

search out and install freeverb and set the delay time to fit your tune...apply it to a 909 kick drum and..and hey presto!

....london acid techno kick :)

very easy :)

is that a non linear verb? alot of verbs have a gated or pre delay hats works but not to get that evolving reverb sound

You could put any number of effect like say chorus after or before the verb in mild doses, or a slow slow flanger added in slightly.

Should also give it that non-lin feel. The verb might sound different as well as the sounds before going into the verb could be changing ever so slightly. Either as a result of the source being an analog drum-machine or an emulation of one or because the samples aren't exactly the same on every beat...
