Some good stuff here.

Great interview.
Babich is a cool dude, apart from the berliner minimal gang haircut.

I think what he is saying, is not hating the plugins, but the prevailant use of them by people who don`t know what they are doing.
He`s obvisouly against the volume war, which is great.

He talks about parallel compression there too, which is something I`m really getting into. Coolness.

Cheers for this.

yeah cool interview

just re-itterating what ALOT of releasing producers, admitedly the more new skool of people releasing at the moment, need to take more heed with. It's alarming how many people think they can master just because they use such and such a plug in, and churn out ear bleedingly loud mixes with next to no dynamics at all. If your not sure, just dont it. I cant master for toffee, no shame in that, i just give my work to someone who can

it's surprising how many of my friends who are very, very much "established" and respected as producers still dont master their own stuff. And reassuring too slightly

that is an awful haircut though

A 'somewhat' rather bizarre post to make in this thread, IMO

Yes, i did follow that episode a bit, but i just thought it was a pretty random and pointless (even if it was meant to be factitious) comment to make in this thread.
