Tomasz Garczewski was born in 1982 in Glogow, Poland. The music he liked always differed from the mainstream. At first it was hip-hop, this is where the adventure of producing his own tracks started. In secondary school from time to time he produced music for his mates, they all prefered his music made on the PC.
At the end of 1990 Tomasz discovered music like Aphex Twin and other well-known artist connected with that style. This absorbed him in the world of electronic music and eventually led to producing his own electronic music tracks. The first tracks were very experimental, rather agressive and noisy. Later he became interested in minimal techno, which quickly turned to hard techno and schranz. Up until now these are the main ingredients in his tracks and live acts , which have gained recognition in Poland and abroad. Tomash has already played in many different countries like Ukraine, Latvia, Lithuania, Germany, Belgium, Austria, Finland, Spain, Slovenia and Hungary. His first vinyl releases was in the end of 2003 on Crowbar Rec, Combat Skill, and his own label, Methadon. Now he releases on great labels like Compressed, FAK, Audio Assault, ARMS or Carnage and smaller like Dark Force or FATTM or Braindamage and of course he continues with his label Methadon.
In January 2006 he started a new label called Methanabol which will be a place for the hardest stuff around. Producing is not the only passion of Tomasz. Another one is painting, which stands on the side because music is currently his main interest. You can watch his older works on http://www.muszaron.z.pl.
