[BIOGRAPHY]
Born and raised in Stockholm, Marcus Stork got into electronic dance music in the late 80's, through listening to Chicago and Detroit house music. Marcus plays a mixture of funky techno, hard techno and detroit techno. His sets are playful and straight, and his gigs take him from Sweden to other countries of Europe: Finland, Belgium, Spain, Croatia, Slovenia, etc. Together with Nick Gadget he is running the "Armalyte" and "Physical Soul" labels. Starting in 1999, Armalyte was his first label, responsible for releases from producers like Slobodan, Mark Verbos and Marcus Stork himself. "Physical Soul" is a new label with a deeper and more soulful approach to music, as one could have already guessed from its name. Marcus is recording under the name "Groove System", his style ranging from deep funky to straight tribal techno. Apart from releases on his own labels, his production has also been released for "Holzplatten" and "Shokoy Records".

Enjoy this tribal techno set from Marcus Stork (Armalyte Records), recorded at Another Twisted Halloween party in Stockholm, Sweden on November, 1st 2003.
