Hi.
Due to circumstances beyond our control*, we are sad to say neuroMANTIS, which was launching this Friday 7th March, has been cancelled. Hopefully only postponed.
But on the positive it's reassuring to know that so many people are infact interested in a night with a difference and a night that is willing to put more exposure onto the visual side of things. It is annoying and dissapointing we can't bring you our intended evening of audio visual frolics but what can you do. We are looking into alternative venues for future dates (feel free to email [mantis@brap.fm] with suggestions)
NeuTek will be providing a showcase mix for MANTIS013. Stay tuned :D

*The venue was double booked and despite us booking in December with the Promoter this was chosen to be ignored by the Owner and so we were offered a storage room with about 6ft 4" ceilings, which was situated thru the cellar, but if we were to mount screens noone would have been able to see anything. Unless they were about 2ft tall.

neuroMANTIS is a new kind of night that we are hoping will challenge your perception of what a club night should be. We intend to present visuals alongside and centre stage to the audio environment created by our DJs and producers.
From 9PM on the 7th March 2008, DVNT and Mr Seavers will be beginning the evening with electronica, electro, techno and more, building up on preparation for our headliner Neu-Tek.
Neu-Tek is part of the Centrifuge (http://www.thecentrifuge.co.uk) crew of circuit bending, electronic sound producing and visual warping maniacs. Performing alongside Neu-Tek will be Aidan Samuel Visuals. Please visit their site to find out more, and for a taste of their potential sound.
To close the launch night we have the premiere of CONFOUNDED, a new AV partnership between DVNT, makemassair and Mr Seavers. Expect techno, electro, wonk and dubstep crafted together with custom filmed, edited, shot and photographed visual stimuli.
This evening is free. So if you fancy something a little different on your Friday night, then please come down, show your support and if you like get involved. Future evening will have increased focus on participation by you, the audience.
The venue, Korsan (address above) is home to an 8K Turbosound rig. So it should be plenty loud.
