ATMOSPHERE - 'THE CLASSICS PART 1'
FRIDAY 2ND MAY 2008
@ THE GROVE, SEATON, DEVON, EX12 2LE
9PM - 3AM
£10 BEFORE 10/ £12 AFTER
After the corking 4th birthday celebrations we are back at our spiritual home The Grove for a monster May bank holiday party with a twist, as we transform the main arena and take a journey back through time to celebrate a 'Decade of trance'! And when we do a classics night we do it it style as we bring you the masters of the sound in the form of the German Hard Trance legends Andreas Kramer & Thomas Pogadl who have created some of the all time classics on labels such as Massive, Overdose, Pulse & Drizzly under numerous guises, too many to list! And if hearing the German masters at work wasn't enough to tempt you we have a one time only exclusive 'Brainstorm' classics set from the Mark E.G who will be rinsing out some classics from the legendary album that helped pave the way for the modern sound we all love! And to add an extra stamp of authenticity to the proceedings we will be welcoming 2 of the original residents from the legendary country club - Dave Scott & Northern Roy. Add to that a second arena with the freshest Hard Trance sounds of today and you've got a proverbial 'Hard Trance Heaven'

www.flybe.com
honestly, anyone wanting to come to this from far away, it's WELL worth looking at that site...
i think there's hotel's in seaton too, but check with the promoters for the best ones... if it was me, i'd get a flight down, bus to seaton, check in, have a WICKED nights, get some sleep, get the bus to exeter, check in and you're home!!!!

Good hotel in seaton is the eyre court one, its right by the club. literally 2-3 min walk
dont do what we do however and end up getting banned from there.

There is the ayre court hotel which is a 30 second walk from the club:
2, Queen St,
Seaton,
Devon
EX12 2NY
Tel: 01297 21455
Or there is the holiday park where you can rent a budget challet nice and cheap and that is only a 5 min walk from the club:
Lyme Bay Holiday Village
87, Harbour Rd, Seaton, Devon EX12 2NE
Tel: 01297 626800
Only thing I would say is that dont expect a whole lot on offer for the day after apart from walking along the beach of visiting the co-op as Seaton isn't exactly a hub of excitement in the day! ha ha

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!
someone needs to help me get these damn tears out of my eyes. chrissi will tell you. i'm in bits. what an emotional roller coaster these last two days have been. from the moment i reached for that first record in my studio to try to construct a set (three days ago), to the moment i put the last record on (last night), i've been listening to some of the most beautiful music i've ever heard. i rarely look back in music, but right now i'm feeling that a whole generation is missing out on something so special and so unique. we've gotta change this.
as far as the night goes... was one of the best nights for a long, long time. thank you for being a part of it..

Yo Mark,
Big thanks to you mate, so glad that you enjoyed this, and me and Tommo really appreciate you doing the set knowing how normally, like you say you dont like to go back in your music, but what an atmosphere (pardon the pun) there was last night. I hope everyone else enjoyed it as it was truely a one off!

Mark, Just gotta say, wot a wikid set u played at Atmosphere last weekend! woz too young to go clubbing back in the day, and to hear that music on a big system surrounded by load of people avin' it was awesome!
Big respect to the Atmosphere crew, we missioned down all the way from Staffordshire, 360 mile round trip, n it woz well worth it everyone played a blinder, n all the peeps we met down there were safe as, just a shame we never got to hear Kramer & Pogadl, but reckon we're gonna make the road trip down again very soon!!!
Good work
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!
but right now i'm feeling that a whole generation is missing out on something so special and so unique. we've gotta change this.
So wots the plan?
