just wondered what people thought were the most expensive 12"s ever in the old skool trance genre, and why? Is it down to how many were produced vs quality of track?
Ones I can think of off the top of my head that seem to be top dollar -
Silverplate - Attention
Axis - Come On
MZone - Trance Explorer One
Nautilus - Chorus Reverse
You'd think the Bonzai Axis one would have been a big run at the time, maybe the Master Maximum ones are shorter, who knows!
Fortunately I have the above apart from Silverplate...
There's loads obviously!

lab 4 reformation comes to mind...........one of the best hard trancers i've ever heard but just can't come to pay the price for it, normally well over £50

just searched for this reformation on here, I see you've mentioned it once or twice before spacehopper - even searching on youtube has brought your name up! I'd have to say, it grates on me a bit personally!

I paid half that last year.
Worth every penny.
Also ultimate - hypnotic feeling. I want it so bad, but £50 is far too much

yes mate its just gives an alternative to mixing trance as it does get quite boring..........i do still like the hardcore tunes i have but would rather bulk up the classics and get the tunes i really want.....
still wish to god i had never sold my gabber vinyl as its so much more fun to mix but for me the joy of listening to a classic trancer would beat the joy of mixing gabber anyday

Ok i'll admit it.....
I have a pre-release of 'Heart Of Gold' - Force and Styles.....
Sorry.
I went xmas shoppin with me dad to London, and hedragged me in this little record shop just off oxford street somewhere, and told me to look through for any elvis stuff.
Anyway I found that, and it was limited to 100 copies or sumfin....
reckon its worth a few quid now like.
