recording AUDIO back from reason into cubase

ok..i recorded my midi tracks into cubase..its playing out into reason..i got sound..

now im trying to record the actual audio back into cubase..

i set up (i think) an audio track under the midi tracks in cubase..i see some levels coming into the audio track meter when i play back, but nothing records..

first..what is the correct way to set up the audio track...?maybe i am missing something..(im not finding it in the help feature..)

just to mention..when i started the project i set it up as a 16 midi channel project...but i seem to be able to add audio tracks even though i started it as a midi project..

I DONT WANT TO RECORD ANYTHING INTO REASON....
