cheers james mate i apprecaite that comment
asylum - this sounds abit selfish but not really keen on giving some of the names out for some tunes that are unknown/uncained and that.. bit shit when tunes get propper cained by everyone... makes them sound fresher when not as many djs play them.. anyway hope ya enjoy the set bud

it would be a good idea actually, if we could all do mixes of less known tracks, will provide an education for each other, and a bit of a surprise from the usual stuff!

fair play mate, i just dont see the problem with old skool tunes. When its new stuff then i understand folk not giving away names, cause its about being that one step ahead.
I mean whats the worst that will happen if u mention the name? U already own it, so the price rising for the 2nd hand copies isnt a problem.
Just my tuppence worth :cheese:

Just listened to this and its a cracking one, mixing is tight as. U cant beat it when the kicks flange like that :dance:
The 1st 2 tunes aint really unknown/uncained ones tho.... Progressive Attack was an M-Zone fav and Mark EG played The C.A.L. II Project on a number of occassions, (and is one of my personal favourites too :cheese:)

i think asylum's from somewhere in north europe - please correct me if im wrong.
yes i thinks its a great idea if everyone starts posting more of their own mixes in the forum, i expect we all have huge collections of vinyl - more than enough for some great mixes.
It's refreshing to hear tracks from the 90's again in this forum, mainly as thats when trance was at its best - ive been buying alot of trance recently but sadly it's nowhere as good as the old days.
unfortunately the markets flooded with hardstyle at the mo - but there are some good hard trance labels around at the mo - v trax to name but one.

hehe West Siiiiiiide!! From the west coast of Scotland, Ayrshire. :cheese:
There is some decent hard trance out there at the moment, its just hard to find. I play nu-skool stuff aswell as old, but the new stuff isn't a patch on the old stuff. Although there are a few folk out there who are trying to change it, so dont lose hope folks. Some of the old skool german producers along with some closer to home are trying to find the right blend between old and new! :;
I might add that there is some very decent hardstyle out there too, with some kick ass melodies!

your so right asylum - all the hardstyle i own have amazing uplifting melodies to them - its a shame you have to go through like over 20 -30 records before you hear anything decent.
a collaboration between the old skool and nu sound you say? - sounds interesting, a fresh take on the old sounds would really get me buying in mass again. :-)
if you can list some new hard trance labels or tracks that you think are good that would be great.
