Barton has been sent down for six months after admitting his part in a confrontation outside a McDonald's in Liverpool in December, he pleaded guilty to assault and affray and was sentenced today

apparently Barton knocked a man to the floor, straddled him and hit him up to 20 times while his cousin threw food at his victim, he then hit a 16-year-old so hard he knocked out his teeth, this after drinking ten pints and five bottles of lager
