Wondering if anyone could recommend a good audio interface to use in conjunction with a MacBook...

Looking for something that offers good I/O options that can be used for feeding hardware into the mac but also routing audio out of DAW into mixers etc.

Zero latency monitoring would be great, but is this an option in the Firewire/USB universe?

MOTU ultralite should do the job

Cheers, looks like a beast :)

Still freaking about the "near" zero latency monitoring. Want to be able to record mixes with decks and/or hardware straight into my DAW.

But thinking I could probably set up a separate set of speakers coming straight from the mixer so I can listen to the audio without latency whilst feeding the signal into the interface so that is recorded into the DAW.

Remember about device aggregation as well. you can have 2 stereo outputs when adding together a USB/forewire soundcard and the built in output.

perfect for DJing

Windows users can stick that in their pipe!

Mwahahaha!
