Edinburgh based : Patrick Walker has been involved with various aspects
of Audio from Sound Design to creating minimal club tracks for just over
15years, with releases spanning labels such as his own avxr digital imprint
(avionix recordings) which is exclusively published via Kompakt MP3
Cologne,Mark Henning's : Clevermusic, Spanish AV imprint : Miga,
Mindtour's Digitaloffshoot : Mindnet and new Glasgow hard/experimental
techno exports :Forward Strategy Group. With support from artists and
DJs such as : Mark Henning, Inigo Kennedy,Surgeon, Dave Ellesmere,
Shelley Parker, Elexx, Operator, and having alreadyperformed live with
some of the worlds greatest electronic artists, his workcontinues to grow,
covering a wide range of sounds from deep aquatic dubs tocranked up
edgy electronics and more upfront hard edged club sounds. Walker has
performed at many clubs, parties and festivals across the UKincluding :
Eurobeat 2000, Havoc, The Unit, React, JaK-N, Oscilate, Freq,Mind the
Gap, Kontrol, Net-Audio 06, STFU, Apex, Lost and has heldresidencies at
nights such as : Lift, Access, Soulfyre Collective, PurpleMoon as well as
being a regular guest at Dogma and Pogo Vogue. His latest release, a
remix of Smear's : Transect on Forward Strategy Groupis available now
on 12" along with his previous digital releases which areavailable to buy
from from kompakt digital.
