I dug "losing site" out of the 3....the track evolves nicely.

I wasnt feelin the other two, unfortunately....but can respect that each have a different sound to them.

Thanks for posting. :)

Thanks for the comments mate. I think I'm scrabbling round a bit for a sound that's my own really. I did hit on something about a year back that was a bit more me (ie a blend of techno, electro, and breaks as opposed to one or the other) but had to sell the synth I used and never really worked it back out on a soft synth. Just got a Bass Station so hope to get it back!

May not really be up your alley (maybe Table of Love a bit more), but have a peek:

Udy - Table Of Love (http://www.underyournose.co.uk/udypromos/Udy-TableOfLove.mp3)

Udy - Reset The Bet (http://www.underyournose.co.uk/udypromos/Udy-ResetTheBet.mp3)

Managed to get into the DJ Mag Pick n Mix section with the first one and there was a little bit of interest in them in the time, got a bit of remix work off them but the tracks themselves never came out, random!

Once again, thanks for your feedback.

Hello there...:)

Nice to see that you can turn your hand to various styles... for me 'Losing Sight' has the best identity of the 3 tracks - - it has come out of you rather than you emulating other styles as such - or that's how it feels imo

Love the menace n those scraping sounds are moving around nicely... like the kick but you are losing it in the mix - - so this needs separating from the bassline more - - using side chain compression if you can and shortening the decay on your kick but leaving the sustain as is - - twill give it a 'chock chock' feel (if that makes sense! heh :;

I like the tempo on that track too...

For me I would leave Weavecore as you do need to do a bit of work on this if you want it to stand up with the others of this style - - no disrespect but this is a 'Citroen#' advert clone n probably would have very limited shelf life, as such

Michelle has a v'nice melodic feel to it and the bass works well in the mix (I do like the emotion that is infused with this track - - a contemplative sentimentality to it)

- - needs a good clean up mind on th EQ front... tighten up the reverb side of things I think as the mix is slightly saturated - -

The intro seems a bit weak as when the main elements come in you kinda wish they had been there sooner... slice off the first 30secs and see how you feel (??)

Still the first one does it for me - - but then it's bound too! lol :briggin:
