Anyone heard Albert Vorne - Indigo Sky? It's on an Italian label I think it's pretty good. If Italy stars producing good uplifting trance should Germany worry about battling a musical ground on two fronts? Ok, realistically this is no musical war or contest it's just simply a question of who's leading the music industry debate and debates are good for the soul.

Hakka , i totally agree with you mate. If Italy do start producing Hard uplifting stuff (German Sounding) The Germans will be under a lot of pressure and under more worry (thats if they can be bothered caring!!). I thought the Italians would just specialize in the More Percussive, Techno-edged Hardstyle stuff. But this is a sign that they also want to use the Traditional German sound aswell. The Germans are going to have work their magic to keep the status as the true Hard Trance kings. Because we all know how good the Italian production is, and we all know that a lof of German stuff hasn't been up to par over the last 6 months+.
It doesn't help when quality producers and labels start bring out commercial cheese for extra cash & publicity etc. Scot Project, Hennes & Cold and CO, need to hit it big, cos the Italians are taking over.
Uberdruck are doing Germany proud at the moment though, they have brought out the fresh German Sound what others need to follow in the direction of.

yeah i agree, in fact ive only bought 4 german tunes in the last 6 months, as to be honest i find a lot of it very cheesy, apart from uberdruck as mentionned who has his finger on the pulse at the moment. Scot Project has really dissapointed me to be honest and DJ wag although a few of his last tunes/remixes have been good still has dissapointed me overall.

I havent heard the tune hakka mentionned yet, but the the italians production skills can hopefully incorporate the hardness with some nice melodies and and more 303 influence....that would be mad!

Has anybody heard Technorap - DJ Mill and Manuel T, classic example I think of what you're talking about. it's got a similar melody to Shadows and Lights but it's much tougher.
