[rhythmtech]

The theory:

1. everyone who signs up here will be randomly given a seperate loop part to create.
2. loops will be uploaded in a rar for everyone to access.
3. get your remix on.
4. upload it here.
5. the best wins

so leave your name below if you want to take part in creating the loops.

Prize (if you can call it that!) - the winner has the option to have his/her track engineered by me.

loops:

keep everything in a key of C just to make things simple. if you want to change keys you can do it when writing your track but for creating the loops its important that everyones on the same page.

thats 4 so far.

i reckon we'll divide it up this way. (some people will get 2 loops to create as things like a kick loop arent exactly rocket science)

also i think the person working on the bass should go first and tell everyone what key its in. save a whole lot of messy pitch shifting.

Also, fairplay to Baz for offering a prize but think of this more of a collaberation than a competion! We have all heard of two people collaberating over the net but have 10 or 20 people ever collaberated this way? I dunno, but it could be cool!

we might as well try and sort it that way. if people want the sam things then i'll do some randoms.

one thing though. i think the synths should be supplied as one-shots aswell as loops as this will give greater freedom.. otherwise tracks could end up sounding very very similiar.

yeah. sounds fine. i think its only the synth part thats needed in detail though.. anything else can be manipulated with a sampler very easily.

Um...well Ive been a bit busy (lazy) tbh but yep go for it! I will get all the loops downloaded by Saturday at the very latest and then put them in one archive for everyone to download so yeah jump in mate ;)
