I think my Commodore 64 might still be in my parents' garage. I need to go look and see. I kind of like my quad core, but there is nothing that could possibly kick as much ass as a Commodore.

FL, ableton and Reason are 50 times more plastic and retro than that thing

i had a spectrum once

Ha ha , I started my music with a spectrum and this thingy called a Ram music machine.

midi interface/8bit mono sampler with an amazing 1.1 second sample time!

I had it connected to an old casio HT-3000 synth and thought it was amazing.

the reality though was it was shite :)

I worked in a school when I was 17 as a computer tech. They had acorn A3000s with this audio morphing software which ive never seen anything do since.

You put in a small sample - say 1 second of vocal "ahhh" and put another sample in of say a square wave.
You then tell it how long you want to morph to take and it computes the waveform from one to the other.

does anyone know if other software does this ? sort of like a wavetable generator
