Richie Hawtins remix of Ebeneezer Goode is bloody outstanding. Simple and viscious.

Discuss.

i've not heard the vocal version, but the instrumental is laaaavly.

if you've not got it already, you should pick up his System 7 remix:

Similar idea, except its 20 minutes long and tweaked to buggery.

I got a wav of it for samplage. I love that remix of it. Simple with a juicy acid line running through it!

i'm the proud owner of this on vinyl too.

felt very weird buying it at the time cause i thought the original was such a sack of ****. hehe

but no, hawtin was on fire at this point. and i think the very fact such a commercial outfit chose him to do a remix proves this.

Absolutely. I love the original, the reason being- I was 10 years old and saw it on the Chart show on sunday and my mum explained what it meant and what ecstacy is.

The hawtin remix is just so bloody raw, it is amazing!
