Cubase sx question?

Is it possible to monitor with a compressor inserted while recording? If so, how do I go about this? Thanks.

If u r using SX just make sure the mixer shows the input audio channel, use the compressor, etc... as an insert... voila... u can also do this from the main window, just press the e for edit channel on the audio track where u r recording 2, and just use the inserts, efx etc...
