First of all, a massive thanks to DJ Filthmonger for trusting me with his babies. I tried the ground wire hack and it works like an absolute charm. It is simple to do, so I took pictures along the way for those who wish to give it a bash.
What you will need:
1) Wire cutters
2) Wire strippers
3) Phillips head screw driver
4) Soldering Iron
5) Solder
6) A steady hand
7) Balls :-)
Step 1: Remove the platter, be very careful that you place her on something soft so as not to shatter the magnet on the underside. Then turn the deck upside down (utilizing the dust cover so you don't kill the tone arm etc) and remove the feet.

Step 2: Remove all the screws from the deck bottom and place them in a dish or something to keep them together.

Step 3: After the screw removal, take off the arse. Be careful not to get the cables caught and pull the deck of your surface.

Step 4: Remove the screws from the black thingy (sorry, i can't think of the sodding name...), basically, the bung that hold the RCA cables in place. Once you have removed the screws, open up the bung- it should just pop open.

Step 5: Now we're removing the plate from under the tone arm assembly. There are 2 screws that hold her on so whip em out and take off the plate. When you are putting the plate back on, be very careful not to shear the screws, they are delicate!

Now, the cables are connected to the PCB by a cable tie, if you have a spare one then you can skip step 6. I don't, so to use the one in place this is what I do.
Step 6: Exercising extreme care, remove both the screws that hold the PCB in place.

Step 7: Again, with extreme care- turn the PCB upside down and thread the Ground cable out.

Step 8: Place the PCB and put the screws back in.

Step 9: Measure to length the grounding cable to around 3 inches and cut (mine is a little longer but thats up to you). Strip the cut endto around 10mm. The cut end will solder to the shielding on the red.

Step 10: Put a blob of solder on the tip of the ground to keep it together. Now place it on the shielding and with the soldering iron solder them together.

So thats basically it, make sure that the solder is nice and secure. All you need to do now is put the deck back together and test it. It has been tried and tested normally and with Serato and there are no problems. Fill yer boots and post this around the place if you like. I hope that it helps. :-)
