This October bank holiday weekend we are changing our Ethos slightly as we vow to seek out class Acts / Djs that have not yet ventured to our shores; also to provide a real platform for up & coming Acts. This night promises to be extra colourful & special with the legendary Thomas P. Heckmann playing live and the infamous Slovak U.Club tag team Loktibrada & Toky under one roof!

THOMAS P. HECKMANN
"ELECTRONIC MUSIC PRODUCER FOR TWO DECADES"
Thomas P. Heckmann started making techno-house music professionally in summer 1991with his first release EXIT 100 - LIQUID . After doing all sorts of electronic music since age eleven - including synth pop, industrial, ebm, experimental - he was attracted by the likes of The KLF and 808 STATE´s early stuff, that lead him into the new acid and techno styles in 1989 . His first release as EXIT 100- Liquid on the just started label FORCE INC was a good entry into the then small techno world.
It brought him the respect of a lot of people and the license on DANIEL MILLERS label MUTE RECORDS in England, which was single of the month in MELODY MAKER and reached number 20 in the independent charts in 1992. He was also one of the pioneer producers to release new acid styles in the likeness of UNDERGROUND RESISTANCE and +8 in Germany with his other projects on FORCE INC : AGE and SKYDIVER . Another of his landmark inspirations for germany !
After producing successfully for FORCE INC until 1993 he released new stuff on LABWORKS records in Germany under the name SPECTRAL EMOTIONS and on DJAX-UP-BEATS in Holland as PURPLE PLEJADE. 1993 he launched his own label TROPE RECORDINGS with his first release under his most successful project DRAX . TROPE RECORDINGS invented new styles, new sounds, new record-formats and was soon one of the leading independent techno labels in Germany gathering a big following over the planet .
1994 saw the birth of another label called ACID ****ER UNITE (A.F.U) , projected more as an acid-house and dance-label with his own projects SILENT BREED and ELECTRO NATION, which also earned a big following all over the world ! His first big hit came out in 1994 as DRAX LTD. II - AMPHETAMINE, that became a world wide crossover hit and even reached number 20 in the official french charts . It is still played all over the world and was influencing lots of producers - commercial and underground ! Extensive live-touring through America, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, England, Switzerland, Austria, France, ... since ´91 made him one of the most respected and most freaked out live-acts in the world . Thomas rejoined FORCE INC in 1997 as AGE and released a 12 inch which was followed by a complete AGE album in march 1998.
He also launched a new Label for Electro-Style music called ELECTROCUTE SOUNDPLATES, with it´s first release early september 98 . Winter 98 was the most successful time for SILENT BREED . The track “SYNC IN”, which was originally released as A.F.U. 016 one year before, was picked up as a crossover - tune and became a commercial hit, reaching even position 83 in the official german top 100 and reached also position 1 in all german dance charts . .The follow up IN VIVO reached position 103 in the german charts and also position 1 or 2 in all german dance charts . SILENT BREED played twice at VIVAs Clubrotation . SYNC IN changed the commercial scene - all was getting more techno and harder - in germany and people still trying to copy it even today !
Though still doing the music he loves and still doing powerful techno tracks, people are more aware than ever of Heckmann's work, because yet again he's changed the minds of a lot of people again and showed them, that one can do underground music, but can also be successful without selling out !!!

Central Europe’s infamous underground techno club 'U.Club' - resident djs (1994-2003)
They have released over 30 records worldwide usually for home labels like Antidandruff, Olga+Jozef, Numb (Numb 6 featured on Hawtins DE9 Close to the Edit mix), Palicavonzvreca with Planet Rhythm releases and the “Petrzalka” EP for Tresor/Berlin.
Known for their perfect technical mixing and unique taste of functional techno, they have had remixing callaborations with Regis, Oscar Mulero, Takaaki Itoh, Function, Christian Wunsch, Hardcell, Mark Broom, Fanon Flowers, Female, DJ Boss & HU.
Recently they are both working on new Antidandruff releases while Loktibrada has also done some rmxs for Anton Pieete, Radial, Museum and DNC.
Having emerged from their home country to play all across Europe, So far they have Played in Switzerland, Russia, Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Denmark, France, Canada, Germany, Poland, Czech, Hungary, Austria,..
They have Never played Ireland yet!

He started paying attention to electronic music at 12, firstly with his Fathers synthesizer, later with some guitars & effects. He then began working with computer programs like fruity loops, rebirth & absynth. On one of his first visits to the party scene he met the man who made a boom in the Slovakian scene TOKY aka Rumenige & was inspired by his playing. From this point he began to buy records in '99, promoted his first event in Senec at the age of 17 and has become one of the new breed of Slovakian techno DJ's playing many clubs across Slovakia and in several EU states. So far he has supported supported DJs like Rush,Regis,James Ruskin,Space Djz,Ben Simms,Hardcell,Tim Taylor,Miss innocent,Dean Rodell,Sven Hanke,Gabriel Palomo,Dave Fish,Inigo Kennedy, Kaiser Soze,Takaaki Itoh,Toky, Loktibrada & DJ Boss...
while resident and promoter in many of the following clubs: Double X, SUB-club / BRATISLAVA, Galéria Duna/BRATISLAVA, Calipso Club/TRNAVA, ArtKlub/TRNAVA, EM-Club/GALANTA, Tunel/SENEC, Stará pekáren/NITRA, Club NO3/NOVE ZAMKY, Vrtula/POV.BYSTR, Astral/ZILIA, Maxis Factory/KOSICE, Tehellna/LEVICE, Apollonia/GALANTA, Paradog/SENICA. JON HUSSEY
DJing since 1993, Jon Hussey is a veritable veteran of Irish techno and the list of clubs he’s played reads like a roll-call of the harder, grittier end of the native scene: Columbia Mills (Planet Dub), Fusion, Genius, Genesis and GDMF amongst many others. Jon’s skills have also taken him to the UK, Italy and Slovakia to play his own take on the harder styles favoured by Surgeon, Ruskin, Regis & Steve Bicknell; He has also got to support some of his favourite artists like The Surgeon, Inigo Kennedy, Steve Bicknell, Loktibrada, Rumenige & DJ Boss in recent years which has helped to keep him inspired! Hussey has also found the time to set up DJ courses with Youth Services & colleges around the city in order to pass the torch on to the next generation of underground techno lovers. Jon is set to raise the bar playing along with Daily in the Junction room – readying the place for the infamous U-Club tag team!

STUEY LYONS
Known locally for his gritty blend of techno and electro, Stuey echoes the early Detroit styles with his deployment of a drum machine while he DJs; while also looking to the likes of Richie Hawtin’s tough, minimal delivery for inspiration. With performances at Junction, Hospital & Electricity under his belt, he has recently taken the step into production. Stuey will be stepping up to set the magic tempo for Heckmann.

ANDY NOONAN
Andy is a DJ and budding producer who started out promoting the Construkt nights a couple of years back. The construkt nights broke underground techno boundaries by booking forward techno thinking artists like Inigo Kennedy and Damon Vallero. At the minute he has forged alliances with friends to run Dublin's formidable techno night 'Junction'. Focusing on the harder end of Techno, Detroit, Electro and some dub-step. Andy is a busy man at the minute starting a media production company this year with a website called http://WWW.YOURNIGHT.IE a 'Clubbing & Nightlife TV'. The site showcases the talent Ireland's electronic music scene has to offer through the power of video!
His sets to date have been deep, dark & inspirational – Andy will play a perfect part for the Junction rooms Techno recipe!

NATARAJ
A producer for ten years, Adam has also started dj'ing in the last two years.
His predominant style is techno, but breakbeat, experimental & chillout are also a part of his trade.
Adam has been promoting small gigs around Dublin city for over five years now and in the last three years has started up the TECHNOTIC club night which is one of the only true hard techno nights existing at the minute.
In his prolific two years Adam has played in nights like Experience, Hospital, Breaks Breaks Breaks, Junction, Fractal, Technotic, RedRum, Tektonic, Tir Na gCasta & Clinical Chaos to name just a few!
Recent highlights where the LIFE Festival in Gort, were he played a blinder; Also playing solid support for techno stalewhart Glenn Wilson in Radio City. Adam is billed to kick the Junction room off for us!

Jamie Clarke of 'Produse' has been honing his skills building up a reputation as one of Ireland’s leading Live PA's on the electronic music circuit. Playing at seminal clubs and major festivals. Produse has built a strong reputation as a purveyor of stereophonic grooves. Copy Paste Delete was the debut release on DXR (Dublin Xpress Recordings) this has earned Produse many fans outside of Dublin and beyond Ireland. Jamie will step up to set the groove tone for our Main room.

They are in demand at the minute as their resident sets have found great favour with crowds from Wax, Voodoo & Mc Gruders. This year has also seen them play an endless list of festivals; Their unique Breaks, Techno & Electro sets are renowned for their dancefloor energy - good cause for the lads to kick things off in the Main room!

This is Cian's debut club performance!!
Fresh from playing the Life Festival and Solas were he went down a storm - he will get the chance to warm things up for the main room. One of Irelands youngest and newest breed of Techno / Minimal style DJ's heavily influenced by Hawtin and Minus production styles. Cians inspirational slant on the edgier style of minimal is refreshing for someone so young, injecting life into this sound. City fest sets the platform for Cian L to display his talent.

JON HUSSEY
DJing since 1993, Jon Hussey is a veritable veteran of Irish techno and the list of clubs he’s played reads like a roll-call of the harder, grittier end of the native scene: Columbia Mills (Planet Dub), Fusion, Genius, Genesis and GDMF amongst many others. Jon’s skills have also taken him to the UK, Italy and Slovakia to play his own take on the harder styles favoured by Surgeon, Ruskin, Regis & Steve Bicknell; He has also got to support some of his favourite artists like The Surgeon, Inigo Kennedy, Steve Bicknell, Loktibrada, Rumenige & DJ Boss in recent years which has helped to keep him inspired! Hussey has also found the time to set up DJ courses with Youth Services & colleges around the city in order to pass the torch on to the next generation of underground techno lovers. Jon is set to raise the bar playing along with Daily in the Junction room – readying the place for the infamous U-Club tag team!

STUEY LYONS
Known locally for his gritty blend of techno and electro, Stuey echoes the early Detroit styles with his deployment of a drum machine while he DJs; while also looking to the likes of Richie Hawtin’s tough, minimal delivery for inspiration. With performances at Junction, Hospital & Electricity under his belt, he has recently taken the step into production. Stuey will be stepping up to set the magic tempo for Heckmann.

ANDY NOONAN
Andy is a DJ and budding producer who started out promoting the Construkt nights a couple of years back. The construkt nights broke underground techno boundaries by booking forward techno thinking artists like Inigo Kennedy and Damon Vallero. At the minute he has forged alliances with friends to run Dublin's formidable techno night 'Junction'. Focusing on the harder end of Techno, Detroit, Electro and some dub-step. Andy is a busy man at the minute starting a media production company this year with a website called http://WWW.YOURNIGHT.IE a 'Clubbing & Nightlife TV'. The site showcases the talent Ireland's electronic music scene has to offer through the power of video!
His sets to date have been deep, dark & inspirational – Andy will play a perfect part for the Junction rooms Techno recipe!

A producer for ten years, Adam has also started dj'ing in the last two years.
His predominant style is techno, but breakbeat, experimental & chillout are also a part of his trade.
Adam has been promoting small gigs around Dublin city for over five years now and in the last three years has started up the TECHNOTIC club night which is one of the only true hard techno nights existing at the minute.
In his prolific two years Adam has played in nights like Experience, Hospital, Breaks Breaks Breaks, Junction, Fractal, Technotic, RedRum, Tektonic, Tir Na gCasta & Clinical Chaos to name just a few!
Recent highlights where the LIFE Festival in Gort, were he played a blinder; Also playing solid support for techno stalewhart Glenn Wilson in Radio City. Adam is billed to kick the Junction room off for us!

Jamie Clarke of 'Produse' has been honing his skills building up a reputation as one of Ireland’s leading Live PA's on the electronic music circuit. Playing at seminal clubs and major festivals. Produse has built a strong reputation as a purveyor of stereophonic grooves. Copy Paste Delete was the debut release on DXR (Dublin Xpress Recordings) this has earned Produse many fans outside of Dublin and beyond Ireland. Jamie will step up to set the groove tone for our Main room.

This is Cian's debut club performance!!
Fresh from playing the Life Festival and Solas were he went down a storm - he will get the chance to warm things up for the main room. One of Irelands youngest and newest breed of Techno / Minimal style DJ's heavily influenced by Hawtin and Minus production styles. Cians inspirational slant on the edgier style of minimal is refreshing for someone so young, injecting life into this sound. City fest sets the platform for Cian L to display his talent.
