What difference to an mp3 track would turning it to wav do?i have a pretty good idea i know you cant replace whats already been taken out but surely it could be done with eq's?would like to hear other peoples views....

Add a bit of smooth harmonic distortion to digital compression artefacts and you're asking for trouble.
